'Putin has never been so humiliated and weak':

'Putin has never been so humiliated and weak': Russia experts say strongman president has been reduced to a bystander after begging Lukashenko to negotiate truce with Wagner leader Prigozhin:

Vladimir Putin has been significantly weakened by the notable mutiny of the Wagner mercenary group, experts say - although the militia leader announced on Saturday he had agreed to stop his march on Moscow and would go himself in Belarusian exile.

The Yevgeny Prigozhin uprising has been Putin's greatest challenge in his more than two decades in power.

He died on Saturday - but not before Prigozhin's men took the southern town of Rostov-on-Don and drove within 120 miles of Moscow.

Under the deal announced by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, Prigozhin will travel to neighboring Belarus and drop charges of inciting an armed uprising.

The government has said it will not prosecute participating fighters either.

Prigozhin's decision to drop his challenge to Putin's rule remains a mystery, and speculation abounded on Saturday night as to why he had caved in and what prompted the violent and surreal uprising.

But although Putin appeared to have won that skirmish, Russian analysts said the 70-year-old, who has been president or prime minister since 1999, was injured in the battle.

Garry Kasparov, the world chess champion and later the top leader of Russia's democratic opposition, said Putin was "humiliated" by Prigozhin.

"The game ended with Putin's worst humiliation - a flight from Moscow when Prigozhin's army was hundreds of kilometers away," he told CNN.

According to Flight Radar, which tracks planes in real time, one of the many planes Putin uses for official visits took off from Moscow at 2:15 p.m. local time. Many have speculated that Putin fled Moscow for St. Petersburg, but Peskov, his spokesman, insisted he was "still working in the Kremlin."

Kasparov added: "Many of Putin's senior figures took cover." A dictator relies on his aura of invincibility.

Sergey Sanovich, a Hoover Fellow at Stanford University's Hoover Institution who specializes in disinformation and autocracies, said Putin has never appeared weaker.

He said it was a sign of his weakening that Belarusian dictator Alexander Lukashenko had to negotiate with Prigozhin on his behalf.

"Prigozhin takes a bold step and gets away with it, possibly with more wins," Sanovich said.

“Lukashenko saves the day. Putin becomes a bystander who complains on TV and leaves his top generals to be humiliated.

"Never in a quarter of a century has Putin looked so ineffective and unhappy."

Sanovich's view of Lukashenko's involvement was shared by Michael McFaul, Barack Obama's Russia adviser from 2009 to 2011 and later US ambassador to Moscow.

McFaul tweeted, "Putin couldn't control a mercenary force he created and led by his pal." He had to rely, of all things, on Lukashenko to negotiate a deal with a man he had called a traitor just hours before

"These are signs of real weakness, not strength."

He added: “What weakened Putin's rise to power? His disastrous war in Ukraine.

"The longer the war lasts, the weaker Putin's regime becomes."

"Those who want to prevent the collapse of the Russian state (eg Xi) should urge Putin to end his war."

Another high-profile critic, Mikhail Khodorkovsky – once Russia's wealthiest man who became a leading opposition figure in exile after Putin imprisoned him for 10 years – said he believes that Putin's judgment was clouded.

COMBAT BARBIE:

COMBAT BARBIE: Why I support the return of the Miss England bikini parade I fought to ban as the competition considers bringing back the controversial round:

Katrina Hodge is quite a woman. I'm not sure I've ever met anyone who's been trained to kill a man with their bare hands, but also walk through a scene in a skimpy bikini without fear. As a beauty queen and a soldier, she shares a very practical pro tip - on the problem of badly behaved bikini bottoms, not a fighting technique.

"Hair spray," she said. "That's the secret." It is best to spray on the buttocks and on the bikini panties, then no wrinkles and lifts will form there. Behind the scenes of every beauty pageant, all the girls help each other spray. “The teamwork going on here is amazing. "Who knew?

Katrina is a former Miss England who interrupted her glittering career in the military to compete in a beauty pageant in 2008. A former corporal in the Royal Anglian Regiment, she was awarded a decoration for bravery after taking two guns from an insurgent in Iraq and slapping him in the face as he was about to launch an attack. His quick response saved the lives of five colleagues.

The jump from the frontline to Miss World (she voted in South Africa 2009) clearly made headlines around the world, earning her the nickname "Combat Barbie" and turning her into a role model for recruiting, much to her delight military personnel, etc. women's movement. Katrina now works in the financial services sector and lives in Brighton with her husband and daughters aged 11 and 8.

She tells me that she had firmly planned to remain in the military throughout her career and that, now 36, she would have retired if everything had worked out. They have not.

"I had a hell of a time coming back [to Miss World]. Guys, colleagues, had pictures of me behind their bed. I was a laughingstock,” she reveals. While the army backed her beauty queen ambitions, she says: "I feel like they took advantage of me. They were happy I was their muse, but when it all became a problem I was on my own.”

We'll get back to his military career, but for now, suffice it to say, it's been blown to pieces. Looking back, does she think a military career is compatible with a career as a beauty queen? "No," she said bluntly. "At least it wasn't for me.

There are many topics that Katrina can talk about due to her unusual career. Today we deal with sexism, misogyny, bullying, societal expectations and female body awareness.

But let's start with the tiny but extremely problematic bikinis. Last week she was back in the headlines and embroiled in a debate over whether to reintroduce the controversial swimsuit variant at this year's Miss England pageant.

Katrina - who is among the latest group of competitors forced to wear it - can be blamed for her downfall.

She had spoken out against a compulsory round of swimsuits, arguing it was humiliating for women and discouraged 'serious' women - 'lawyers, teachers, doctors, soldiers' - from attending celebrations self-confidence, autonomy and community spirit of women.

It is true that young women in these professions are now flocking to beauty pageants. Miss England 2019 was NHS doctor Dr. Bhasha Mukherjee. Last year's winner was aerospace engineering student Jessica Gagen, who appears to be on her way to becoming an astronaut.

Yet far from praising herself for her service to the sister community, Katrina is at odds with her once militant stance. She's now, confusingly, endorsing the bikini — or at least a woman's decision to wear one in a beauty pageant — in what seems like an about-face. "At the time, I joined the Awakened Brigade because I thought that was the feminist thing," she said. “It has been reported that I now regret it. That is not completly correct. I think it was the right decision back then. There were elements that went downhill.”

“I remember one Miss England bikini launch event where the finalists paraded to the show on the King's Road in Chelsea. That wasn't going to happen now, and it was humiliating. The police stopped the traffic and there were men in cars screaming.” That was not the purpose of the competitions. It had nothing to do with our charity work or giving us a platform. It was all about showing meat.

But what has changed 14 years later? 'All. We live in a different culture where Love Islanders make millionaires by walking around in bikinis — and nobody judges them for it. But women who compete are still labeled bad feminists. And I feel like the question has gotten really confusing.

"I don't think the swimsuits are the problem, it's more the way they are presented, when the girls are taken out of the frame of the festival and out of context." The world of contests has also changed. It is no longer run by men for men. At most festivals, 80% of the audience is now made up of women. They are women who cheer up other women and celebrate all body shapes and sizes.

"The key is choice, I think." I still don't think the swimsuit tour should be something a woman MUST attend, but I also feel like it can be empowering. It was definitely for me.

Katrina's turnaround is also partly due to her personal experience. Although she has always been a part of pageants (she now runs one herself), she hadn't competed in 12 years before getting back on the track last year. It was a revelation as she chose to enter a contest that also involved swimsuits.

And the surprising twist? Her body was much larger than when she was Miss England, so even she expected to hate the experience. "I weighed seven kilos more," she says. “And I had no confidence in my body. I'm not sure I ever was - I always had to work up the courage to even walk around the pool on vacation, no matter how tall I was.

“But when I returned to competition, I had a completely different body. I had two children. I was wearing size 16/18 clothes and not the size 6 I was wearing at the time. Miss England Days. I think a lot of women get disoriented when they become mothers, and to a certain extent I felt the same way. I ate like I did in the army days, but didn't do the three workouts a day.

She says her weight gain caused her a lot of heartache — especially when she or others compared her figure to the figure that earned her the title of Miss England.

"It was humiliating. I remember going to a friend's house with my shaggy hair and little makeup and she had a visitor. They introduced me and said, 'This is the woman we told you about, Miss England.' I felt bad at those moments. You can't help but feel like you're letting yourself go. I didn't want to be in photos with my daughters because I was ashamed of my looks. And yet she still looked great - just bigger.

She says it was extremely scary to walk the runway again in one black piece - until she noticed the cheers of support from the crowd.

"Honestly, I've never felt so supported and it's done wonders for my confidence." In fact, I would say I felt more confident and confident than I ever felt during my Miss England days."

Were you still convicted?

"Yes, the pageant world is all about being judged - but not just on body shape these days." You are judged on your body awareness and attitude.

“No one cares if you have tremors or cellulite because we all have that.” “This realization was a real game-changer for me.” Katrina is now taller than she was in her 20s , a relatively slim waist in size 36. She lost 7 again, partly due to stress — "my mother died last year and a lot of that was" — but also due to health issues .

“My knees were damaged from years in the military and the extra weight was not good for them. This size makes me feel healthier, but at the same time I definitely felt more confident doing this swimsuit trick as a woman in a size 16/18 than in a size 6. I can only conclude that when it comes to trust, size doesn't really matter . It's about what's going on in your head.

Where is she now? "I still have congestion - now the skin is loose and doesn't look tight enough, but unfortunately I think that's normal." I think most women have complexes. It doesn't matter if you are a beauty queen or not.

"The key to overcoming these issues is addressing the relationship you have with your body, rather than seeing it as something designed to meet certain standards or please men."

Bikini arguments aside, it's interesting that Katrina talks about the teamwork and togetherness in the pageant world. It provides structure and support that the military once offered.

Originally, she joined the military because of a challenge. "People didn't think someone as girly as me would be accepted," she says. She was deployed to Iraq two days after her 18th birthday and loved her new world.

She says she truly believed being a beauty queen would only enrich her career in the military.

"I had to get permission, which was granted."

Maybe she was naive to think that after her pin-up career she would be back in the limelight, but seeing her own bikini picture hanging on the walls at the fair was still a shock. .

"I don't think I was prepared for the abuse I suffered. A lot of it was online — people called me a bitch whore bitch just because they saw pictures of me in a bathing suit — but there were also people in the military who commented.

She says there were sexually aggressive comments that went beyond a hoax. "Once cans of Coke were thrown at me, but complaining about it made me feel like a diva. The women were actually more snappy than the men.”

Canadian police consider criminal probe into catastrophic Titanic

Canadian police consider criminal probe into catastrophic Titanic tourist sub implosion that killed five men as mothership returns to port and crew face grilling:

Police Canada are considering a criminal investigation into Titanic's catastrophic sub-implosion that killed five men as the mothership returned to port.

RCMP Superintendent Kent Osmond told a news conference today that a decision had begun on whether or not a criminal investigation was necessary.

The relief ship Polar Prince arrived in St. John's Harbour, Newfoundland on Saturday morning and docked around 8.15am local time as the sun broke through the morning fog.

Crew members were seen looking grim as they received a briefing on board the ship, which departed eight days ago with 24 people on board, five of whom died in the sub-disaster.

Police officers and security investigators were seen boarding the vessel after Canada's Transportation Security Administration (TSB) announced it was launching an investigation into the offshore vessel's deadly implosion.

Superintendent Osmond said: "Today the RCMP opened an investigation into the circumstances leading to the deaths of the five people aboard the submersible Titan."

Osmond said: "Today the RCMP launched an investigation into the circumstances leading to the deaths of the five people aboard the submersible Titan."

"A team of investigators has been assembled for the sole purpose of answering the question of whether or not a full investigation is warranted."

"Such an investigation will only proceed if an investigation of the circumstances indicates that a criminal, federal or state law may have been violated."

“It would have been inappropriate for the RCMP to take this action during recovery efforts.

"Following the US Coast Guard's announcement earlier this week, we will now address the circumstances that led to these deaths."

"Our investigators have been engaged and active in this manner since this morning."

The Polar Prince had participated in a massive search operation for the Titan about 435 miles south of St. John's that ended Thursday with confirmation that the submarine had imploded deep underwater, likely shortly after its launch on Sunday.

TSB investigators were seen boarding the Polar Prince shortly after she docked in St. John.

TSB's Cliff Harvey said at a news conference that interviews had taken place with those on board and they were not detaining anyone.

TSB officials said their job is to find out why the incident happened and reduce the risk of it happening again.

The TSB stated that the voyage data recorder records all audio signals from the bridge and that these logs are under review.

Rigid inflatable boats were also spotted, appearing to tow the Titan submersible's launch platform away from the Polar Prince and further along the harbour.

Tourists gathered on the quay with morbid curiosity, some posing for selfies with the arctic prince in the background.

A man who photographed the scene said to his girlfriend, "Oh wow." How good. Tragic but neat.

Polar Prince is a decommissioned Canadian Coast Guard icebreaker now owned by Miawpukek Horizon Maritime Service Ltd and chartered by extreme tourism company OceanGate as a support vessel for Titan's deadly dive.

OceanGate founder and CEO Stockton Rush was killed aboard the American company's submersible along with prominent British-Pakistani businessman Shahzada Dawood and his son Suleman Dawood, British adventurer Hamish Harding and French Titanic expert Paul-Henri Nargeolet .

Two Canadian Coast Guard (CCG) vessels involved in the search operation also returned to St. John's harbor on Friday evening, with one remaining at the scene of the disaster.

A crowd gathered near the quay to witness the return of CCGS Terry Fox and CCGS Ann Harvey while CCGS John Cabot stayed on site to provide assistance and assistance with salvage and salvage operations.

In a statement released ahead of their ships' arrival in port, the CCG said, "The Canadian Coast Guard extends its sincere condolences to the families and friends of the crew of Titan for their tragic loss."

'Search and rescue operations have concluded.'

Now authorities from the US and Canada have begun the process of investigating the cause of the Titan's fatal implosion.

The US Coast Guard said on Friday that a formal inquiry has not yet been launched, because maritime agencies are still busy searching the area where the vessel was destroyed.

Debris was located about 12,500 feet underwater, several hundred feet away from the Titanic wreckage it was on its way to explore.

How Taylor Swift 'snubbed handwritten invite from Meghan to appear on her Spotify podcast

How Taylor Swift 'snubbed handwritten invite from Meghan to appear on her Spotify podcast (letting her rep say no!) while execs rejected idea after idea from the subpar Sussexes'... though a Great Expectations-inspired Netflix show IS on the way:

Taylor Swift reportedly turned down an invitation to join Meghan Markle's podcast despite receiving a 'personal letter' from the Duchess.

The pop singer was invited by Meghan herself to perform at Archetypes, but declined through her rep, The Wall Street Journal reported.

The newspaper summed up Harry and Meghan's deals with Netflix as "big ideas, underperforming" after executives at the streaming giant and Spotify reportedly said they were "disappointed" with the lack of big ideas and productivity of the couple.

Since the couple stepped down from royal duties in 2020 and flew to California to live in their new $14 million nine-bedroom mansion, the couple have built an intricate network of "entertainment" businesses to " spread their truth".

However, it has been confirmed that the couple is currently creating a Great Expectations-inspired show for Netflix titled Bad Manners.

Described as a prequel to the Charles Dickens classic, the series tells the story of a lonely Miss Haversham living in a patriarchal society.

It is currently unknown if the show was commissioned by Netflix itself.

A documentary about Invictus Games, a production the pair agreed to shortly after signing the £80million deal with Netflix in 2020, is also still in the works.

The Heart of Invictus program tracks the training of participants around the world for the The Hague games, which were scheduled to take place in 2020 but have been postponed to 2021 due to the pandemic.

It's one of the couple's only ideas that wasn't rejected by the streaming giant.

The Wall Street Journal analysis said Harry and Meghan offered similar shows to already popular Netflix programs, such as sitcoms like Emily in Paris but "about a man", and a show about LGBTQ characters similar to those from Heartstopper.

Another proposal was a documentary on disinformation, which also did not come out of the editorial board.

What's next for Romelu Lukaku?

What's next for Romelu Lukaku? Inter Milan can't afford him, Chelsea don't want him and he vowed to NEVER join AC Milan - the only club interested in him - so is Saudi Arabia his only option:

Romelu Lukaku seems stuck at Chelsea as his lucrative contract makes the striker a tough sell on the transfer market and few clubs are able to match his high salary.

The Belgian was Serie A's highest-paid player last season when he was loaned out to Inter Milan but struggled to justify the expense. For the first six months of the season, Lukaku was either unavailable due to injury or lacked the physical form to make a positive impact for both Inter and Belgium.

With Lukaku just turning 30, clubs interested in signing the striker are worried about his salary demands and his recent physical issues as well as his age.

The current version of Lukaku is not worthy of a place at one of European football's elite clubs as the striker is in serious danger of starting an irreversible downward spiral in his career.

Lukaku has shown he needs a club that plays a very specific way and the striker thrived under Antonio Conte's system during his early spell at Inter Milan.

On the other hand, Lukaku has struggled to fit positively into Manchester United or Chelsea's systems.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter have no hope of returning Lukaku on loan for a second straight season as Chelsea have categorically ruled it out.

The Blues are looking for an offer of at least €40m (£34m) as they look to recoup some of their spending on the Belgium centre-forward.

As a result, Saudi Arabia remains a very real target and there is still a chance of bringing Lukaku to the high-spending Pro League.

Lukaku's preference remains a return to Inter but he must wait and see if chairman Steven Zhang can make an offer Chelsea finds acceptable.

Meanwhile, Inter's rivals AC Milan have made their first offer to the Blues.

LUKAKU'S PROMISE TO FANS: 'I WILL NEVER GO TO AC MILAN'

Lukaku had previously declared his love for Inter in an interview with Sky Sport in 2021 and repeated that he would never accept offers from Milan and Juventus. But the situation has changed dramatically.

For now, only Stefano Pioli's AC Milan can offer Lukaku a return to Serie A.

Gazzetta dello Sport have reported that Chelsea have informed Lukaku's entourage that another loan move to Inter is impossible.

The news was notably passed on to Sebastien Ledure, the lawyer who played a pivotal role in brokering a deal that saw Lukaku go on a season-long loan with the club last year.

Chelsea insist that anyone who wants Lukaku must buy him immediately. As of this writing, with Inter lacking the financial resources for a deal, AC Milan is Lukaku's only option to stay in European football.

Lukaku could only get Al Hilal's offer. Gazzetta dello Sport reported that the Saudi side have offered him a three-year deal worth €30m (£26m) a season.

Al-Hilal continues his efforts to sign the forward, having started immediately after Inter Milan lost to Manchester City in the Champions League final.

A first meeting took place in the hours after the Istanbul screening at the Hotel George V in Paris.

That's REALLY getting away from it all! A peek at 10,000-acres of gorgeous highland wilderness that Pippa Middleton is set to inherit. She even gets to call herself Her Ladyship:

Pippa Middleton recently moved from a £17million townhouse in Chelsea to a 30-bedroom retreat in Berkshire with her husband James Matthews.

But the Princess of Wales' younger sister may one day be tempted to move to the Scottish Highlands if her billionaire husband inherits his family's Glen Affric estate.

James' father, David Matthews, bought the property in 2018 along with the main house, Affric Lodge, set amidst a 10,000-acre peninsula and lake of the same name.

Glen Affric is situated south-west of the village of Cannich in the Scottish Highlands region, around 15 miles west of Loch Ness.

David took the courtesy title of Laird of Glen Affric and quickly turned the property into a luxury rental offering.

It's unclear how much he bought for it, but at £11,800 for a three-night stay for up to eight people, or £17,800 for a group of 16, we can only guess.

The main pavilion has a total of eight bedrooms as well as a whiskey room, drawing room, dining room and various lounges.

The lodge is decorated with paintings of Highland landscapes by 19th century artist Sir Edwin Landseer and retains traditional Victorian features such as turrets and fireplaces.

It was built between 1860 and 1872 using local pines and hardwoods and Caledonian granite.

The charming and newly built Stable Cottage nearby is modern and colorful.

The lodge is also better known and the late Queen's grandmother, Mary, resided at the lodge as far back as the 19th century, while David Beckham also filmed an advertisement for his Haig Club whiskey there in 2014.

James' brother, former Made in Chelsea star Spencer Matthews, even married wife Vogue Williams at the estate in June 2018.

The property's website says Glen Affric is considered one of the most beautiful places in Scotland - and the photos seem to indicate that's true.

To keep it in the family, James Middleton, brother of Pippa and the Princess of Wales, also serves as host at the estate.

James, 35, regularly shares his thoughts and moments at Glen Affric Estate.

In recent years he has shared images of himself with his French wife Alizee and their dogs standing on a paddle board.

James posted the image with the caption: 'I got tingles not from the cold but from how beautiful she is. Yes, it's Scotland in November!

Petrol prices in Britain have fallen 24% in a year and are now 45p-a-litre cheaper: How does that compare to other major countries?

Petrol prices in Britain have fallen 24% in a year and are now 45p-a-litre cheaper: How does that compare to other major countries:

Lower fuel prices relieve drivers in the UK - but how much are drivers saving compared to other countries?

A year ago petrol and diesel prices hit record highs with drivers paying over £2 a liter to fill up in many areas.

According to the AA, the average motorist now pays 143.47p for a liter of petrol, up from 188.74p a year ago, a saving of 45.3p.

That means a saving of £25.71 for every 500 miles driven on a petrol engine and reaching 40 miles per gallon - a total of £81.49 compared to £107.20 last June.

Motorists paid 196.36p a liter of diesel in June 2022, compared to 145.33p currently, or 51.3p less.

However, compared to June 2019, petrol is 15 pence per liter more expensive and diesel is 11 pence per liter more expensive.

The cheapest place to get petrol in June is Asda, the AA said, with petrol prices averaging 140.01p a litre. BP was the most expensive at 145.21p.

For diesel drivers, Sainsbury's was the cheapest petrol station at 141.36 pence per litre. Here, too, BP calculated the highest price at 147.71 pence.

Average petrol prices in the UK are mid-table compared to other countries - but have fallen the most over the past year.

The average UK driver now saves 45.27p per liter of petrol, the biggest saving of any country surveyed by the AA.

The lowest saving was in Germany, where motorists are now paying just 2.57p a liter less than in June 2022.

For drivers planning to take their car abroad on holiday, it may be a good idea to fill up before leaving the UK coast.

Petrol is currently 16.4p per liter more expensive in France, but diesel is slightly cheaper at 143.10p per liter compared to the UK average of 145.33p.

AA's Luke Bosdet said: "With dismal inflation and rising interest rates, the much lower cost of petrol and diesel is encouraging the start of the summer season, with holidaymakers heading to some capable areas to save a little more." Europe. '

Mark Zuckerberg Wants To Fight Elon Musk In A Cage Fight

Two of the world's most famous tech billionaires - Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerburg - have agreed to fight. Zuckerberg says he's ready to take on Musk in cage fights and accepts his challenge.

It's a new normal, but it doesn't seem so normal considering two of the world's most prominent tech billionaires - Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerburg - have agreed to go head-to-head in a cage fight.

Recently, Tesla SpaceX Twitter boss Elon Musk tweeted that he was "ready for a cage fight" with Zuckerberg. The CEO of Meta (Facebook, Instagram, Whatsapp), an aspiring mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter, hit back by posting a screenshot of Musk's tweet on Instagram with the caption, "Send me location."

Musk then responded to Zuckerberg's response with "Vegas Octagon."

FYI: The Vegas Octagon is the competition mat and fenced area for the Ultimate Fighting Champions (UFC) bout taking place in Las Vegas, Nevada.

While Zuckerberg is known for his fitness and recently won jiu-jitsu tournaments where he defeated an Uber engineer and won two medals, Musk has been very vocal about not working out, also tweeting, "I have this great move that I call "The Walrus", where I just lay on top of my opponent and do nothing."

The exchange went viral and social media users debated who would win the fight, while others posted memes, including mock-up posters promoting the fight.

Lily, 34, rocked extra long looks in a short black pleated mini dress with gold metallic trim.
Lily's dress featured a subtle and sexy black lace detail at the top of the Yesterday star's thigh, reminiscent of suspenders.
Not only did the dress show off her sun-kissed skyscraper legs, but it also featured a plunging neckline that discreetly hinted at the star's cleavage.
Gemma Chan, meanwhile, brightened up the festival in a crisp white shirt and top combo.
The Crazy Rich Asians actress, 40, wore a super short white denim skirt that showed off her long legs.
Baby Driver lead actress Lily paired the dress with a pair of black Barbour ankle boots and a black Barbour wax coat.
Actress Rebecca completed the look with large black Ray-Ban sunglasses and a small black handbag.
Lily met her friend Billie Piper. The actress gave the 40-year-old I Hate Suzie star a big hug as they celebrated their reunion.
Billie wore a matching purple shirt and shorts under a long black coat with gold buttons.
She paired the ensemble with a pair of black Adidas rubber clogs and carried a small brown handbag over one shoulder.
She completed the outfit with rectangular sunglasses and, like Lily, kept her hair dyed black.
The BFFs appeared to be beaming with happiness as they attended the event together, sometimes holding hands affectionately.
She wore the outfit under a black Barbour coat with brown suede lapels and paired the coat with black knee-high Barbour boots.
Gemma attended the legendary festival with her boyfriend, actor Dominic Cooper.

The Mamma Mia star, 45, wore a matching look with Gemma, also opting for a black coat with brown suede lapels worn over a white t-shirt.
However, he differentiated himself from his girlfriend by opting for matching pants and high-top green and black cargo trainers with orange detailing.
He completed the outfit with a pair of Ray-Ban tortoiseshell sunglasses and a cream Panama hat.
The couple smiled as they prepared to see the Foo Fighters' surprise performance on stage.
The band made a surprise appearance at the festival, returning for the first time since the death of Taylor Hawkins.

The rock 'n' roll icons shocked festival-goers when they took the stage at The Pyramid to perform an impressive hour-long setlist, leading Friday's star-studded performers.
The band last played Glastonbury six years ago and it was the first time they had returned to the festival since the tragic death of drummer Taylor Hawkins last year.
Singer Dave Grohl paid tribute to his late friend and bandmate by dedicating his latest song, Everlong, to him in a touching moment.
Taylor was found dead in his luxury hotel room last year after suffering a "cardiovascular collapse" caused by excessive drug use during the band's tour of Colombia.
The group's surprise appearance came after weeks of speculation about who would be playing the 'secret' slot, which went by the mysterious alias The Churnups.
Fans previously believed the alias referred to Britpop group Pulp, but the Daily Mail later confirmed it would be The Foo Fighters who made a surprise appearance.
The Glastonbury crowd went wild as vocalist Dave strutted onto the stage, guitar in hand, and opened the show.
Festival goers and viewers at home took to Twitter to share their shock at The Foo Fighter's surprise performance, with some admitting they "screamed" when they arrived.

One fan exclaimed, "I actually screamed when the Foo Fighters came!" Wahhhhh.'
Another shared his shock, writing: 'Foo Fighters out of nowhere', while a third wrote: 'The Foo Fighters show up and do whatever it takes.'
A third joked: "Churnups look and sound weirdly like Foo Fighters."
Another said: "There aren't many bands these days that I would love to be in Glasto, but Foo Fighters is one of them."

'Alive one millisecond, dead the next': Former Navy doctor reveals exactly what would've happened during Titanic Five's tragic final moment - saying 'they would've been crushed instantly'

Dr Dale Molé, former director of underwater medicine and radiotherapy for the US Navy, told DailyMail.com the deaths were quick and painless, with deaths almost instantaneous due to the extraordinary forces exerted by the ocean in depth.

Molé said: "It would have happened so suddenly that they wouldn't even have known there was a problem or what had happened to them."

"It's like being here for a minute and then the switch goes off." One millisecond you're alive and the next millisecond you're dead."

The crew was more than 2 miles below the surface of the sea, which would have generated pressures in excess of 5,500 pounds per square inch (PSI).

On board the ship is OceanGate CEO Stockton Rush, 61; Paul-Henri (PH) Nargeolet, French Navy veteran, 77; British billionaire Hamish Harding, 58; Pakistani businessman Shahzada Dawood, 41; and his son Suleman, who was only 19 years old.

The tiny crewed ship was protected by a hyperbaric chamber, a sealed capsule well above ambient pressure, a pressurized gas system to control the internal pressure, and a breathing gas supply for the occupants.

Molé said: “The pressure hull is the chamber where the occupants stay. It's like they hit rock bottom when the pressure vessel imploded, and when it ruptures, it's usually all at once.

"It looks like it was the carbon fiber cylinder that gave way and caused the implosion."

How the pressure chamber was pierced remains unclear. However, such an implosion could be due to a leak, a power outage, or a small fire due to an electrical short.

The result would have been a violent and instantaneous implosion as highly pressurized water rushed in from the outside, ripping off the rear cover and landing frame, tearing the submarine's hull apart and crushing those inside.

Molé said: "They would have been torn to pieces."

"An implosion is when the pressure wave is directed inward, whereas an explosion is when the pressure wave or shock wave emanates from any source."

He explained it as an overinflated balloon - the balloon will eventually burst if too much pressure is applied.

The reverse happens during an implosion: if there is more pressure on the outside than the container can handle, the inside collapses.

Molé said, "If someone stood on an empty soda can, it would support your weight, but if you then pressed the sides, the can would immediately collapse."

He added: "It's just the place where debris and fragments and everything else is pouring inward due to a strong outside force." In this case, it was the sea.

"At least at Titanic's depth, which is 12,500 feet, the external pressure would be 6,000 pounds per square inch. It is this pressure that, if there were a weak point in the hull, would cause the hull to collapse and suddenly create a shock wave. An implosion can certainly be just as destructive as an explosion.

According to Scientific American, had the submersible been near the Titanic, it would have been subjected to more pressure than a great white shark bite.

Nicolai Roterman, a deep-sea ecologist at the University of Portsmouth, UK, agreed that with such an implosion, the pressure would have killed the occupants almost instantly.

"If there were any breach in the hull, the occupants would succumb to the sea almost instantly."

Tributes were posted and released following news of the Titanic Five's deaths on Thursday.

Paul-Henri Nargeolet, 77 - commonly known as PH - was part of the first human expedition to visit the Titanic wreck in 1987 and had visited the site at least 35 times. His family said her death broke her heart.

"He is a man who will be remembered as one of the greatest deep-sea explorers in modern history. When you think of the Titanic and everything we know about the ship today, you think of Paul-Henri Nargeolet and his legendary work.”

"But what we will remember most is his big heart, his incredible sense of humor and how much he loved his family. He will be missed today and every day for the rest of our lives.

Harding's company, Action Aviation, also released a statement following the news of his death.

“Hamish Harding was a loving husband to his wife and a devoted father to two sons whom he loved dearly. For his Action Aviation team, he was a leader, inspiration, supporter and living legend,” the statement said.

The Dawood family said they are grateful to those who took part in the international rescue operation. Their works are "a source of strength," Hussain and the Kulsum Dawood family said in a statement.

“We are also indebted to our friends, family, colleagues and supporters around the world who supported us in this difficult hour,” the statement said. "The tremendous love and support we receive continues to help us get through this unimaginable loss."

Wagner seize control of Russian military HQ in Rostov-on-Don after commanding officer FLED when mercenaries arrived

Wagner seize control of Russian military HQ in Rostov-on-Don after commanding officer FLED when mercenaries arrived: Militia leader Prigozhin says 25,000 men will march on Moscow to take out 'evil' military chiefs as Putin charges him with armed mutiny

Fears of an attempted coup in Russia grew on Saturday after Wagner militiamen stormed the military and ministerial headquarters in the southern city of Rostov-on-Don. Russia, led by embittered mercenary boss Yevgeny Prigozhin, is poised to avenge Moscow's murder. his men

Prigozhin released a new message at 7:30 a.m. Moscow time on Saturday, saying his men had infiltrated the Southern Defense Command in Rostov-on-Don and were controlling the city's airport.

Government officials urged local residents to stay indoors, but some watched the action and even streamed the action live on their cellphones.

Prigozhin, who was once a confidant of Vladimir Putin before declaring war on Moscow's military rulers, said in a video that the senior command post officer fled when he learned Wagner's troops were approaching .

"We have it under control so that the attack planes do not bring us in, but attack the Ukrainians." The main control center headquarters is functioning normally. There are no problems, not a single official has been caught. If we also tell you that the PMC Wagner intervened and things like that... When we came here, we confirmed again: a lot, a lot of territory was lost. Three to four times as many soldiers were killed as reported to commanders. And it is reported ten times less than what is said on television. "Cases per day can reach 1,000 people on some days." "Something went wrong at the front [it's wrong]," Prigozhin said.

“It is the missing dead, the injured and the so-called refusers who refuse, not because they are afraid, but because they have no way out, no ammunition, no control.” “The chief of staff fled from here as soon as he heard that as we approached the building,” he concluded.

New photos showed Wagner fighters marching through the streets of Rostov-on-Don on Saturday morning, with one photo showing a member flashing the V for the victory sign.

Footage shared on social media showed troops in front of the military headquarters in the south - which plays a crucial role in handling the war in Ukraine - while others could be seen less than half a mile around the Rostov office of the interior ministry.

Meghan Markle ranks first in list of potential runners for US pollical party president

Meghan Markle ranks first in list of potential runners for US pollical party president:

Meghan Markle has outranked the others in a poll conducted by the US Democratic Party to choose the most suitable president.

According to Express.co.uk, 64% support a candidate in the upcoming presidential election, while the Duchess of Sussex won 525 votes in a poll of 1,500 potential voters.

Patrick Basham, director of the Democracy Institute, said: 'We have confirmed that most Democrats want a woman and want a female candidate next time around.

“For a number of years it has been said that very soon the Democrats will be able to get the National Democratic Party to stop nominating white gay men as candidates.

"Before we had Michelle Obama with us, she's not a serious candidate because she doesn't seem serious about running for office."

"The elephant in the room on the Democratic side is Meghan Markle who continues to make moves there and I would say she is going to test the waters in different ways and in different ways."

"She's ahead in part thanks to her paint-by-numbers profile. As a newcomer, it has not been tested or found to be faulty. She remains a serious candidate if she decides to go down this path,” she added.

Prince Andrew left 'depressed' after Garter Day snub and unlikelihood of royal return

Prince Andrew left 'depressed' after Garter Day snub and unlikelihood of royal return

Prince Andrew would "probably be very, very depressed" if he did not attend the procession of the Order of the Garter.

The scandal-hit Duke of York - who is no longer a member of the royal family after his ties to billionaire pedophile Jeffrey Epstein came to light - attended a luncheon for the event in his role as Royal Knight Companion but was not allowed to attend the event on Monday. , which was attended by members of the Royal Family including the Prince and Princess of Wales and Princess Anne.

Ingrid Seward, 75, editor of Majesty magazine, told GB News when Andrew's absence made headlines that she believed he was "completely lost" but "unable to do anything" because he was lost from the procession to St. George's Chapel in Windsor was excluded.

She added, "Especially to see his whole family stepping up to the force on Saturday while he had done the same a few years earlier."

Andrew resigned as senior royal in 2019 because of his connection to convicted pedophile Epstein, and in 2022 paid an out-of-court settlement with Virginia Roberts, 39, who claims she was forced to have sex with the prince as a teenager. – which he has repeatedly denied.

Ingrid added of Andrew: "He's never known anything but military and king and he's not adaptable, he's not popular and as far as we know he's got nothing. found something else in his life."

"He's really in a golden cage unable to do anything and I feel a bit sorry for him...I think he just doesn't understand what he's done." I feel like he's completely lost, and I'm sure he's probably very, very depressed, especially when he sees his whole family rolling in the (colored) troop on Saturday when it was the same thing a few years ago.

Speaking to Eamonn Holmes and Isabel Webster, Ingrid continued: "Andrew has every right and that's part of his problem. But I think Charles is actually protecting him, because if he came down from the castle to St. - George during the garter ceremony today, he might get booed.

"It wouldn't look good, so you can't see it, but it's still there. It's really up to Andrew to find some sort of life for himself."

Ingrid also advised the Duke to follow the lead of John Profumo, the politician who was involved in one of the biggest sex scandals of the 20th century and later redeemed himself through charity.

She said: "I think he's very unhappy. He lacks the inner resources that others might have, and I always think of the Profumo scandal and how, very, very quietly, John Profumo did a great charity job to redeem himself.

Prince Harry's controversial podcast pitch to interview Donald Trump and Putin

Prince Harry's controversial podcast pitch to interview Donald Trump and Putin:

The Duke of Sussex is said to have shocked producers when he asked to interview the two Presidents about their childhood.
Prince Harry reportedly wanted to controversially interview Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump about their childhoods in a Spotify podcast.

The Duke of Sussex is said to have shocked producers with his bold idea of asking them about their upbringing and how they compared to the men they are today.

However, it seems Harry never got the chance after the £18million Spotify deal between him and Meghan Markle was called off last week after just one series of Markle's Archetypes podcast.

Bloomberg reports that the prince has discussed podcast ideas with "several producers and production houses" but has "mostly stuck with his own" idea of interviewing the characters, reports the Express.
According to recent reports, the Duke has been dreaming of big dreams with guests, as he reportedly wanted to chat with Russian President Vladimir Putin, former US President Donald Trump and Facebook co-founder Mark Zuckerberg.

It was also reported that Harry had hoped to speak to Pope Francis about religion.
His controversial pitch is said to have struck Spotify bosses as "questionable at best" as most of his guest favorites rarely gave interviews or discussed their upbringing.
Harry and Meghan signed the lucrative deal with Spotify after stepping out of the Royal Family in March 2020.

But although Meghan was recently named Top Entertainment Podcast Host at the Gracie Awards, the podcast was canceled after just 12 episodes.

In a joint statement with Spotify, the couple's company, Archewell, said, "Spotify and Archewell Audio have mutually agreed to part ways and are proud of the series we have produced together."
But there are questions about whether things are as amicable as they have been portrayed after Spotify's head of innovation and podcast monetization Bill Simmons called the couples "fuckin' crooks "Just a day later.

In an angry tirade, he said: "This is the podcast we should have started with them. I need to get drunk one night and tell the story of the Zoom I had with Harry for l 'help with a podcast idea. That's it.'" one of my best stories.

The couple filed for exclusive rights to 'Archetypes', but the US Patent and Trademark Office rejected their claims on the grounds that there might be confusion with an existing trademark.
Harry and Meghan attempted to claim rights to archetypes in areas such as "downloadable audio recordings and podcasts" and anything that fell under the category of "cultural treatment of women and stereotypes women face".

However, due to an existing trademark owned by Arizona Archetypes LLC, their requests were denied

James Cameron knew on Monday Titanic sub had imploded and rescue was 'futile'

James Cameron knew on Monday Titanic sub had imploded and rescue was 'futile'

Titanic film director James Cameron also told CNN that when he heard that OceanGate was planning the deep-sea submersible with a carbon fiber and titanium composite hull, he thought it was a horrible idea.

Last night Cameron said: "The only scenario I could think of that would explain this was an implosion - a shock wave event so powerful it actually destroyed a secondary system which has its own pressure vessel and battery , namely the transponder.” The (mother) ship uses it to track where the submarine is.

"It felt like sufficient validation that I could tell everyone around me that we had lost our comrades and I encouraged them all to raise a glass in their honor on Monday."

Cameron directed the hit 1997 film starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet and made 33 dives in the wreck of the Titanic.

The submersible had five people on board when it set sail on Sunday and headed to the wreck of the Titanic in the North Atlantic. An hour and 45 minutes into the voyage, it lost contact with its mothership, prompting a days-long search. Then the US Coast Guard was contacted and later Canadian rescue workers also joined.

Cameron said he was submerged in a more powerful ceramic submarine than the ship used and built by Oceangate. Cameron added that the tragedy at sea came as no surprise to him as he questioned the carbon fiber hull of the submarine, called Titan.

"I tracked down information that was probably of military origin, although it could also be for research purposes - because there are hydrophones all over the Atlantic - and got confirmation that there is had loud noises indicating an implosion,” he explained. Cameron said he was "stricken to the core" by the result, adding: "I've been living with this for a few days now, as have some of my colleagues in the deep submergence community."

"I was on a boat myself when it happened on Sunday.

"The first time I heard about it was Monday morning. I immediately connected to my network - because it is a very small community of the group "Deep Submergence" - and in half a hour, I received the information that they had lost the communication follow-up at the same time.

"Then over the next few days I watched all this type of research, everyone running around with their hair on fire, knowing it was futile, hoping I was wrong, but deep down I knew it. It wasn't me.

Cameron said when he heard that OceanGate was planning the deep sea submersible with a carbon fiber and titanium composite hull, he wasn't sure it was a good idea.

"I thought that was a terrible idea. I would have liked to talk about it, but I assumed someone was smarter than me, you know, because I've never experienced this technology, but that sounded bad at first," he told Reuters. THURSDAY.

Cameron also said he wasn't the only deep-sea expert to figure out what happened before the news was confirmed and that it "certainly came as no surprise" when he was told about it. On Thursday he announced that all five people on board were dead.

On Thursday evening, OceanGate released a statement saying they believe tragedy has struck: "We now believe that our CEO Stockton Rush, Shahzada Dawood and his son Suleman Dawood, Hamish Harding and Paul-Henri Nargeolet, sadly have been lost."

This was confirmed by the US Coast Guard at a press conference.

David Mearns, a salvage expert and friend of one on board, said "a landing frame and aft cover of the submersible" were recovered in the search area.

He said he received the information via WhatsApp from someone "directly connected to the vessels involved in the search for the OceanGate submersible."

Documents show that OceanGate has been warned repeatedly that the way it was designed could result in catastrophic security problems.

A major search operation was launched on Sunday, with ships and planes rushing into the site with equipment to support the search.

On Thursday, the US Coast Guard said an underwater robot dispatched by a Canadian ship had reached the seabed, while a French research institute said a deep-diving robot with cameras, lights and arms had also joined the operation.

The ship was about 435 miles south of St. John's, Newfoundland on a voyage to the wreck of the Titanic off the coast of Canada.

"Happy birthday my love," he said in his caption. “You are a strong, loving and caring woman. I will choose you now and always.

Seemingly in response, the reality TV personality shared an upbeat solo photo of herself at the San Diego County Fair and wrote, "Happiness is a mood." Staying positive is a state of mind.

Indifferent! Kim Menzies didn't seem bothered that her ex-fiancé Usman Umar had found a new girlfriend. In the caption of a new Instagram post, the 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way star, 53, shared that she "stays positive" after her ex, 34, posted her new lover online on Monday

Recently, it appeared his ex-fiancé and new girlfriend were enjoying a romantic getaway to London, according to various posts on their separate social media accounts.

Umar had shared another series of photos from the couple's visits and explorations with what appeared to be a dodgy caption.

"Love is a beautiful thing," he wrote. "It's great to fall in love and get it back."

Showing off: Umar had shared another series of photos of the pair sightseeing and exploring teamed with a seemingly shady caption. On the other hand, the influencer has kept tight-lipped about her own relationship status and has not made any public comments mentioning her ex

He continued, "I'm not officially forcibly banned from the market, I'm voluntarily." It's the one I need. Look at us, don't you think we're compatible?

However, the couple, who have an 18-year age difference, eventually called it quits and broke up in the season 7 finale of spin-off series 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After.

During their romance, Menzies had established a polygamous relationship with Usman, but due to his continued disrespect, they broke up before getting married.

Prior to Menzies, Umar was romantically involved with reality TV star Lisa Hamme.

The former couple, who are 20 years apart, had been married for less than a year in 2020.

Ava Max says stage invader scratched her eye during LA concert

Ava Max says stage invader scratched her eye during LA concert

Singer Ava Max said a spectator "slapped me so hard" during a show in Los Angeles that he "scratched the inside of my eye".

Videos posted online apparently showed a man slapping the American pop star in the face during his performance.

Footage shows Max flinching and holding his eye after being punched.

After the show, the singer tweeted, "He slapped me so hard he scratched the inside of my eye. He'll never go back to a show again."

She added, "Thank you to the fans who were spectacular in LA tonight!!"

The 29-year-old singer was performing at the Fonda Theater on Tuesday when she was hit.

It comes days after pop star Bebe Rexha suffered facial injuries after an audience threw a phone at her on stage in New York.

Max was almost at the end of her show when she was hit and left the stage shortly after. She wore sunglasses when meeting fans after the show.

Joel Rangel, 30, from Tucson, Arizona, who captured the moment on video, told the PA news agency: "She ended the show with her song The Motto and a fan just ran and jumped on the left side of the stage."

"As he jumped onto the stage, some lights fell to the ground and he ran towards Ava with his arms spread wide as if to hug her.

"But security ran and grabbed her, and when they did, she just turned around and reached out with her arm and slapped her in the face."

Mr. Rangel, who said he flew to Los Angeles for the concert, added: "Also, they almost canceled the meeting because of the situation."

"She had to wear sunglasses and was confused and dizzy so it was sad to have to talk to her like that."

Another fan, Cory Larrabee, tweeted: "The security guard attacked him and literally threw him down the stairs. Wild!!! It was so quick.”

The singer, whose real name is Amanda Ava Koci, rose to fame with her 2018 single "Sweet But Psycho," and has since enjoyed chart success with "Kings & Queens," "Salt," and "My Head & My Heart." “.

Her debut studio album Heaven & Hell peaked at number two in the UK in 2020 and earlier in the year she released her second album Diamonds & Dancefloors.

Could the BoE hike rates to 5% today? Brits brace for more pain at noon with fears of a half-point rise after inflation shock - as lenders are urged to let stricken mortgage-payers switch to interest-only or extend terms

Could the BoE hike rates to 5% today? Brits brace for more pain at noon with fears of a half-point rise after inflation shock - as lenders are urged to let stricken mortgage-payers switch to interest-only or extend terms

The British are threatened with another hammer blow today: The Bank of England will raise interest rates for the 13th time in a row in order to stem the rapid inflation.

Markets are pricing in a 0.25 percentage point rise to 4.75% when the Monetary Policy Committee's latest decision is announced at midday.

But yesterday's shocking numbers, which showed prices still not slowing, made a 5% rise a real possibility - adding to the agony of mortgage payers.

The respected think tank IFS prevented 1.4 million people from losing a fifth of their disposable income due to rising costs.

BoE Governor Andrew Bailey has come under fire for not acting earlier on inflation. Some financial advisors argue that Threadneedle Street now has no choice but to force a regression.

Rishi Sunak has resisted Conservatives' calls for tax breaks or other government relief for homeowners and renewed his pledge to raise CPI inflation by the end of the year.

Labor lists say banks should be forced to allow vulnerable mortgageholders to switch to interest-only payments or extend their maturities - even if it means increasing their long-term debt.

Speculation is swirling that the Monetary Policy Committee might even opt for a 0.5 percentage point rise today from the current 4.5 per cent

The panic was sparked when official figures showed that headline inflation remained stuck at 8.7%, beating expectations of a fall to 8.4% and suggesting that price increases are anchored in the economy.

In order to achieve Mr. Sunak's target, it must be reduced to a maximum of 5.4% by the end of the year.

Markets were particularly concerned that core inflation, which excludes volatile factors such as food and energy, actually rose from 6.8% to 7.1%, partly thanks to rising wages.

The average two-year mortgage has hit 6.15 per cent, while government borrowing has also become massively more expensive

Traders raised borrowing costs as they expect the BoE to use its only tool to fight inflation and raise interest rates.

The average two-year mortgage has hit 6.15% while government borrowing has also become massively more expensive, raising questions about public services and the Tories hoping for tax cuts this fall.

Sunak, who will hold a question-and-answer session with voters today, insisted inflation should be brought under control

In a statement last night, he said: 'I feel a deep moral responsibility to ensure that the money you earn maintains its value.

"That's why our top priority is to halve inflation this year and return to the 2% target."

"And I'm absolutely convinced that we can do it if we keep our composure."

The bank is required by law to target an inflation rate of 2%. But critics say the company lost track as the global economy recovered from the pandemic.

Karen Ward, a founding member of the Chancellor's Economic Advisory Council, said yesterday that Threadneedle Street had been "too tentative" about inflation.

She warned not to nip the problem in the bud, which could mean the bank will have to "manufacture a recession" to get inflation under control.

She added: "The hope was that these were external factors that came and went quickly. Clearly that's not the case - our economy is too hot."

In a series of interviews this morning, Secretary of State James Cleverly said Mr Sunak remains committed to halving inflation this year - but triggering a recession is not the solution.

"What we have to do is let the economy grow," he told Sky News

"High interest rates don't help. I don't think anyone in government would subscribe to the idea that we should deliberately go into recession."

He added: "We know that the Bank of England is independent in its interest rate decisions. Obviously he has an inflation target to pursue.

“Of course we are seeing inflation mostly due to the upward pressure on food and fuel prices compounded by this war in Ukraine.
